A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to own the availability, reliability, performance, and ongoing security of cloud environments across multiple public-cloud landing zones.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of cloud security systems.
- Operate and manage security controls across multiple public-cloud landing zones.
- Manage changes through secure CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes using Terraform.
- Own security solutions across CNAPP, SAST, and SCA categories.
- Contribute to the design of new landing zones and strategic cloud-migration projects.
- Collaborate with Platform, DevOps, cybersecurity, and architecture teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience implementing information security solutions, including at least 3 years in public-cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or equivalent advanced training or military-unit experience.
- Experience with enterprise cloud architectures.
- Experience with cloud security components such as firewalls, API gateways, WAF, Azure Policy, and APM.
- Strong experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform or an equivalent tool.
- Experience securing Kubernetes environments, including AKS or OpenShift, network policies, RBAC, secrets management, image scanning, and admission control.
Nice to have
- Significant Azure experience.
- Multi-cloud experience with AWS or GCP in addition to Azure.
- Experience working within a Cloud Center of Excellence, Platform Team, or Enterprise Architecture model.
