Join a cloud engineering team responsible for protecting a complex multi-cloud environment. Monitor and investigate security alerts, support incident response, optimize security tooling, and automate recurring security operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and perform initial triage of security alerts while meeting incident response service-level targets.
- Execute daily security operations tasks and prevent operational backlogs.
- Act as a security liaison for cloud engineering teams.
- Configure, tune, and optimize security tools across cloud infrastructure.
- Investigate security events, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritize remediation actions.
- Develop automation for vulnerability scanning, incident triage, and configuration management.
- Use AI-assisted security capabilities while validating insights and refining automated processes.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing threat detection and incident response processes.
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and an understanding of machine learning models for anomaly detection.
- Proficiency with SIEM, CSPM, DSPM, EDR, vulnerability scanning, and cloud monitoring platforms.
- Scripting experience with Python and Bash.
- Practical experience operating in multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with infrastructure vulnerability management and remediation strategies.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
