Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and upgrade industrial instrumentation, process analyzers, control systems, and electrical equipment. The role provides plant support, preventive maintenance, commissioning assistance, and on-call response in Reno, Nevada, on a 9/80 schedule.
Responsabilidades
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance and calibration on process and environmental analyzers
- Maintain and troubleshoot DCS, PLCs, control system hardware, process instruments, transmitters, switches, and control valves
- Provide 24-hour on-call support during plant upsets, outages, and other operational disruptions
- Install, remove, repair, and upgrade instrumentation, electrical equipment, control-system hardware, conduit, wiring, and related infrastructure
- Perform preventive maintenance on medium-voltage equipment, motors, motor starters, UPS systems, batteries, drives, and electrical motors
- Support instrument control-loop commissioning and collaborate with contractors to verify installations
- Participate in factory and site acceptance testing for installations and upgrades
- Document repairs, parts procurement, and maintenance activities in SAP
- Participate in process hazard reviews and pre-startup safety reviews
- Support safety procedures, operational policies, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requisitos
- Associate degree in electrical, electronic technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of medium- to high-voltage experience in an industrial or heavy commercial environment
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs, including Triconex, Allen-Bradley, or Modicon
- Experience with distributed control systems such as Honeywell, DeltaV, or Yokogawa
- Knowledge of gas chromatographs, gas analyzers, sample systems, and oxygen or hydrocarbon detection systems
- Ability to diagnose electrical circuits, components, motors, starters, switchgear, AC/DC systems, and variable frequency drives
- Ability to work safely with equipment and systems up to 138 kV
Se valora
- Instrumentation experience with TREX systems, electrical meters, and calibration pumps
- Experience troubleshooting and installing control valves and Coriolis flow meters
- NETA Level II or higher certification or equivalent
- Journeyman Electrician license
