A cybersecurity company is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead endpoint security product strategy, requirements, and delivery. The role partners with engineering, QA, customer engineering, sales, and customers on technically complex networking and operating-system topics.
Responsabilidades
- Define product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog while balancing business priorities and technical constraints.
- Partner with engineering and QA to support successful product delivery.
- Evaluate technical trade-offs across platforms and operating systems and prioritize according to customer and business impact.
- Translate complex technical and customer requirements into clear product specifications.
- Own performance and resource-footprint requirements for endpoint agents across diverse system environments.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for endpoint topics across engineering, customer engineering, sales, and customers.
- Define the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and technical opportunities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Track emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends.
Requisitos
- At least 5 years of relevant product management experience in cybersecurity.
- Strong technical understanding of network security concepts, operating systems, and networking.
- Working knowledge of native operating-system firewall or filtering architectures across at least two of Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Experience defining requirements for agent-based or endpoint software, including deployment and update or rollback mechanics.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including L3/L4, stateful and stateless filtering, NAT, and policy enforcement.
- Ability to read API and other technical documentation and collaborate with engineering on integration points.
- Excellent written English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Se valora
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Technical background as a developer.
- Experience with AIX or other legacy Unix filtering, including IPFilter or IPsec.
- Experience in IT systems or networking.
