Review and support planning schemes submitted to the municipality. Assess their alignment with planning policy and applicable plans, and consider effects on the environment, community, infrastructure, public needs, the local economy, urban design, and land use.
Responsabilidades
- Review, advance, and support planning schemes submitted to the municipality
- Assess plans against planning policy and applicable plans, including their environmental, social, infrastructure, public-service, economic, urban-design, and land-use impacts
- Coordinate with external planners, municipal departments, and other organizations throughout planning and approval processes
- Prepare professional opinions and respond to residents, architects, lawyers, appraisers, and municipal stakeholders
Requisitos
- Academic studies in geography, architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, urban design, or social sciences with a specialization in urban and regional planning; alternatively, an architecture or construction practical engineering qualification, subject to tender requirements
- Knowledge of planning software and Microsoft Office
- High-level Hebrew
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, service orientation, and ability to work in a team
Se valora
- Experience preparing or reviewing statutory urban plans at a planning institution
- Proficiency with drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Photoshop
- Knowledge of additional languages
