Lead a team responsible for data center hardware operations, service quality, compliance, and safety. Prioritize technician work, develop team capabilities, and coordinate issue resolution in an on-site, shift-based environment.
Responsabilidades
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of data center technicians
- Guide hardware installation, deployment, replacement, diagnostics, and decommissioning
- Monitor service quality and compliance with operational procedures and service-level requirements
- Ensure technicians are trained and verify post-execution quality checks
- Prioritize team work and lead triage meetings as needs change
- Escalate issues, track resolution, and share relevant knowledge with partner teams
- Assess process changes and communicate their service impact to stakeholders
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure technicians and vendors follow safety procedures
Requisitos
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
- At least three years supporting IT equipment or related technology, or working with technical teams
- At least one year directing, supervising, or managing others
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays
- Ability to pass required background and security screening
Se valora
- Associate degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Four or more years supporting IT equipment or related technology
- Three or more years in a production data center operating 24/7/365
- Two or more years leading a technical or IT team
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA, ITIL Foundation, CDCP, or Six Sigma Green Belt
