Senior ServiceNow Application Engineer
Own the end-to-end engineering of a commercial ServiceNow application, including architecture, development, certification, releases, and customer escalations. Work closely with product and customer security operations teams.
Responsabilidades
- Own the architecture, development, and maintenance of the scoped ServiceNow application.
- Integrate the company platform with ServiceNow, including data ingestion, finding-to-CI correlation, remediation workflows, and bidirectional synchronization.
- Align with Vulnerability Response and Unified Security Exposure Management data models and support customer migration paths.
- Manage ServiceNow Store certification, security and performance reviews, design documentation, and submissions.
- Maintain supported-release currency and manage the application release calendar.
- Develop versioning and upgrade paths, including migration logic for data model changes.
- Build automated tests, source control practices, and release engineering for the application.
- Handle technical customer escalations and support technical pre-sales discussions.
- Transition application knowledge from the external development partner.
Requisitos
- At least 5 years building on ServiceNow, including substantial scoped application development.
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend development with a language such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, or C/C++.
- Experience shipping a ServiceNow Store application through certification; recertification experience is advantageous.
- Strong server-side JavaScript and Glide scripting skills, including Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
- Solid CMDB knowledge, including CI identification and reconciliation, and familiarity with CSDM.
- Experience with source control and automated testing for ServiceNow applications.
- Experience owning a shipped product, including versioning, backward compatibility, release notes, upgrade paths, and customer support.
- Ability to engineer defensively for unpredictable customer environments, including customizations, high data volumes, partial failures, rate limits, and retries.
- Clear written communication with customer technical teams.
- At least 5 years of experience across at least 2 positions.

- Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, Unified Security Exposure Management, or Security Operations integrations.
- Experience at an ISV or technology vendor listed on the ServiceNow Store.
- Experience with Service Graph Connectors, MID Server architecture, domain-separated instances, or ServiceNow partner programs.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or CIS–Vulnerability Response certification.
- Background in vulnerability management, exposure management, or SOC workflows.
