A technology company is seeking a mechanical design engineer to develop enclosures and electronic packaging for complex systems. The role includes engineering analysis, manufacturing transition, and support for integration and customer installations.
Responsabilidades
- Design and develop mechanical solutions and enclosures for complex multidisciplinary systems, including ruggedized enclosures for airborne and ground-based systems.
- Perform thermal, structural, and dynamic analyses using SOLIDWORKS Simulation.
- Design electronic packaging with a focus on passive and active heat dissipation.
- Collaborate with electronics engineers during PCB development and layout.
- Support design reviews and present engineering solutions to customers, management, and multidisciplinary R&D teams.
- Support the transition from development to manufacturing and coordinate and review subcontractor manufacturing work.
- Support assembly, integration, and system installation, including technical support during customer activities in Israel and abroad.
Requisitos
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on mechanical design and development experience.
- Experience with electronic packaging and mechanical enclosures for complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with structural and thermal analysis.
- Experience designing passive and active cooling solutions.
- Strong hands-on SOLIDWORKS experience; experience with SOLIDWORKS Simulation.
- Experience with PDM systems.
- Understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes and the transition from development to production.
- Experience working with subcontractors and mechanical manufacturers.
- Very good written and spoken English.
