A game studio is seeking a Middle+ or Senior 3D Animator/Rigger for a cinematic Unreal Engine 5 project. The role is fully remote worldwide and focuses on humanoid, quadruped, and surreal creature animation.
Обязанности
- Create reliable, integration-ready rigs and skinning for humanoid characters, monsters, quadrupeds, and cinematic props
- Create high-quality hand-keyed animation for idles, locomotion, stealth, object interaction, and character states
- Develop distinctive movement patterns for surreal creatures and monsters
- Export and prepare animation assets for integration into Unreal Engine 5
- Work closely with the technical animator to resolve rigging and animation integration issues
Требования
- At least 3 years of professional game development experience as an animator or rigger
- At least one released or actively developed 3D project
- Professional proficiency with Autodesk Maya or Blender
- Clear understanding of the Unreal Engine 5 animation pipeline, including skeleton requirements, bone hierarchies, IK systems, and retargeting
- Strong understanding of human and quadruped anatomy, biomechanics, weight, and balance
- Ability to animate both realistic human movement and unnatural creature motion
- Current showreel demonstrating hand-keyed animation, creature locomotion, and complex character rigs
