A new video game startup is seeking a Lead Game Designer for an early-stage PC project. The role owns the overall gameplay vision and may convert to a permanent position in the future.

- Own the overall gameplay vision
- Define core mechanics, systems, and progression
- Ensure features support product goals and audience needs
- Deliver early gameplay prototypes
- Create detailed design documentation
- Use player data and feedback to refine gameplay and balance
Требования
- Prior experience in a lead or senior game design role
- Portfolio or shipped titles demonstrating relevant game and level design work
- Ability to create clear, detailed design documentation
- Strong game design experience defining mechanics, systems, and progression for PC games
- Technical ability to deliver prototypes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use player data and feedback to iterate on gameplay and balance
- Effective communication with non-technical stakeholders
- Right to work in the UK
Будет плюсом
- Relevant education in game design, game development, computer science, interactive media, or a related field
- Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or comparable game engines
