Lead strategic procurement and complex commercial negotiations for a deep-tech hardware organization serving defense, aerospace, and high-technology markets. The role covers supplier partnerships, manufacturing cost optimization, international sourcing, and supply continuity.
Обязанности
- Lead complex commercial and legal negotiations with global vendors, defense contractors, and specialized hardware suppliers
- Optimize bill-of-materials and manufacturing costs by analyzing engineering specifications, alternative sourcing options, and volume pricing
- Build and scale strategic supplier agreements, joint-development partnerships, and resilient international supply chains
- Partner with research and development, systems architecture, hardware engineering, and operations teams on procurement strategy and product lifecycles
- Mitigate global supply chain risks, support geopolitical compliance, and maintain material availability for mission-critical hardware
Требования
- At least 7 years of senior experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial negotiations within deep-tech, defense, aerospace, or high-tech hardware
- Proven success structuring and closing complex, multimillion-dollar agreements with global corporations and defense organizations
- Strong knowledge of international component distributors, electronics manufacturing services providers, and specialized defense suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to reduce bill-of-materials and manufacturing costs through renegotiation, dual sourcing, and value engineering
- Ability to combine strategic supplier management with detailed, line-item cost analysis
