Lead critical defense research and development projects from initial concept through successful transition to serial production. The role combines technical leadership, customer requirements analysis, and matrix management of multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
Обязанности
- Lead defense R&D projects while managing scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
- Analyze complex customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications and detailed development plans
- Manage project risks, progress, and critical technical decisions
- Lead technical feasibility assessments and design reviews
- Coordinate the transition from development to serial production, ensuring design maturity and manufacturing readiness
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers in a matrix structure
- Track project progress and present status updates to management
Требования
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or a related engineering field
- Approximately three years of experience in product management, project management, or systems management within defense companies
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary development projects from concept through serial production
- Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing technologies, Design for Manufacturing, validation methodologies, and project management principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
- Full proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Valid security clearance or willingness to undergo the clearance process
