Own the technology strategy and execution for an early-stage social commerce platform that turns images into product discovery and shopping experiences. Partner with the CEO to shape the product and build a scalable global platform.
Обязанности
- Lead technology strategy and make decisions on architecture, infrastructure, AI, and engineering.
- Partner with the CEO on product strategy and turn the company vision into a product.
- Build and improve web and mobile applications, backend services, and scalable infrastructure.
- Develop visual search and computer vision capabilities, including product detection, segmentation, recognition, and attribute extraction.
- Build embeddings, vector and similarity search, product matching, ranking, and recommendation systems.
- Integrate search engines, APIs, brand catalogs, retailers, affiliate networks, and AI models.
- Develop social commerce features, including feeds, profiles, uploads, interactions, follows, and product tagging.
- Build analytics and vendor and admin dashboards; manage authentication, databases, cloud infrastructure, security, and APIs.
- Select and manage AI and cloud providers while controlling operating costs.
- Establish testing, monitoring, deployment, and CI/CD practices; recruit and lead the engineering team as the company grows.
Требования
- Significant experience building software products from the ground up, including full-stack development.
- Strong technical foundation and ability to make sound architecture and technology decisions.
- Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as React, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, Python, cloud platforms, databases, REST APIs, and AI model APIs; experience with every listed technology is not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and ability to work independently in an early-stage environment.
- Product-minded approach and understanding of user experience and business needs.
- Motivation to take a long-term, founder-level role in building a company.

- Experience deploying production AI systems and improving accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost.
