A growing software company developing supply chain planning and forecasting solutions is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own core technology and deliver production-ready features.
Обязанности
- Implement production-grade, enterprise-ready software
- Develop features from early design through production release and support
- Collaborate with data science and algorithms teams on complex computational tasks
- Work with product and frontend teams on client-facing features
- Improve the software environment and infrastructure
- Review code through design reviews and pull requests
- Keep current with relevant technology developments and apply them
Требования
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 6 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to learn new technologies and research quickly

- AWS infrastructure experience
- Web development and API design experience
- Big data tools experience
- Experience implementing complex algorithms and optimization problems
- Experience collaborating with machine learning or data science teams
- Strong foundation in statistics and probability theory
