Technical Manager – Airborne Command and Control Systems
Lead the engineering and system lifecycle of airborne command and control projects, integrating software, hardware, communications, avionics, and user interfaces across airborne and ground-based platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for airborne command and control projects.
- Own engineering and system activities across the lifecycle from development through customer-site deployment.
- Lead system integration on airborne platforms and ground-based sites.
- Coordinate interfaces between development, systems engineering, integration, testing, customers, and end users.
- Define system-level solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Lead troubleshooting, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
- Support ground and flight testing in Israel and abroad.
- Manage system configuration, customer requirement adaptation, and integration into operational environments.
- Lead design reviews, technical decisions, and discussions with customers and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience providing technical leadership for multidisciplinary projects involving complex systems.
- Experience with system integration, testing, and operational deployment.
- High level of spoken and written English.
- Ability to coordinate multiple technical interfaces in a dynamic, matrix-based environment.
- Strong systems thinking, initiative, independence, and complex problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- M.Sc. in Systems Engineering or Technology Management.
- Experience with command and control systems, communications, avionics, or airborne systems.
