Systems Engineer – Naval Systems

Join an engineering team developing and integrating complex naval systems for international defense programs. The role combines requirements management, subsystem integration, verification, testing, and customer-site deployment.
Responsibilities
- Author system documentation and manage system requirements and technical specifications.
- Lead suppliers and subcontractors, overseeing deliverables, quality, and schedules.
- Coordinate integration across hardware, software, and communications subsystems.
- Plan and execute laboratory and field integration tests, including onboard vessels.
- Support harbor acceptance testing and sea acceptance testing activities.
- Verify requirements, analyze failures, and lead corrective resolution.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, software, hardware, IT, testing, and operations teams.
- Participate in installation, deployment, and commissioning at customer sites in Israel and abroad.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Experience writing requirements documents, technical specifications, and interface control documents (ICDs).
- Understanding of integrated hardware-software systems.
- Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors.
- High proficiency in Hebrew and English, written and spoken, including customer-facing presentations.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Strong systems thinking, analytical ability, interpersonal communication, independence, and ability to meet demanding schedules.
Nice to have
- Experience as a Systems Engineer or Integration Engineer.
- Experience or knowledge of naval systems, navigation, or maritime communications.
