A defense-sector manufacturer is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across the lifecycle of complex multidisciplinary electro-optical systems, from presales and requirements definition through architecture, integration, testing, and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership throughout the planning lifecycle, including presales, product requirements definition, and architecture selection.
- Lead and support the specification, design, integration, and testing of complex electro-optical systems.
- Write system requirements documents and define system interfaces and development tests.
- Conduct engineering reviews with customers.
- Participate in system integration, testing, system trials, and failure investigations.
- Provide technical support to customers in Israel and internationally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics.
- At least five years of experience as a multidisciplinary Systems Engineer or in a comparable role.
- Mandatory experience leading multidisciplinary projects technically.
- Experience performing system integration and design-verification testing.
Nice to have
- A master’s degree in electro-optics or systems engineering.
- Experience with discipline-specific engineering design.
- Experience developing electro-optical payloads, thermal imaging, control systems, robotics, or machine vision.
- Hands-on experience with electro-optical products or software.
