Lead systems engineering for airborne electro-optical protection systems, including requirements, architecture, integration, testing, and performance analysis. The role is based in Rehovot, Israel, and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and customers in Israel and abroad.
Responsibilities
- Define system requirements and lead requirements management.
- Lead design reviews and analyze system performance.
- Manage system integration and testing with development teams and customers.
- Drive independent engineering development processes in a multidisciplinary matrix environment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and customers in Israel and abroad.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in development or systems engineering for complex multidisciplinary systems.
- Experience leading engineering development processes in a matrix organization.
- Ability to define, analyze, and document system and interface requirements.
- Experience building and maintaining system architecture.
- Strong technical communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- System-oriented mindset, thoroughness, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to have
- M.Sc. in Systems Engineering or another engineering discipline.
- Experience with electro-optical systems.
- Familiarity with airborne military systems.
