Lead the conception and development of advanced radar and multi-sensor systems, from initial concepts and requirements through architecture, proof of concept, testing, and demonstrations. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and support the integration of emerging technologies into defense
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative system concepts for radar and multi-sensor systems involving optical, electronic warfare, acoustic, and related technologies.
- Lead system development from abstract concept and requirements definition through system architecture, proof of concept, testing, and demonstrations.
- Coordinate cross-functional development processes involving systems engineering teams from multiple organizational units.
- Conduct performance analysis, simulations, and technical investigations.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, algorithm developers, software developers, hardware engineers, and mechanical engineers.
- Work with business units to introduce emerging technologies into development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, biomedical engineering, or physics.
- At least 3 years of systems engineering experience.
- Proven experience designing complex systems that combine hardware, processes, and algorithms in radar, intelligence, electronic warfare, or communications systems.
- Proven experience conducting analysis, performance studies, and simulations using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
Nice to have
- Master’s or doctoral degree.
- Experience leading engineering teams in organizational or matrix structures.
- Broad familiarity with leading market technologies.
