Join a local enterprise sales engineering pod and own the technical delivery of customer solutions, from discovery and architecture through proof of concept, production launch, and stabilization. This hybrid role is based in Tel Aviv and includes travel across Israel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery with enterprise customers and understand their communications, AI, and integration requirements.
- Design architectures and build custom production implementations using communications APIs, AI voice assistants, WebRTC, and related platform services.
- Lead proofs of concept, pilots, and production launches from initial design through go-live.
- Deploy and operate LLM gateways with routing, fallbacks, rate limits, virtual keys, cost controls, logging, and observability.
- Design model-routing strategies for real-time voice workloads and evaluate hosted versus self-hosted models.
- Develop prompts, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and evaluation harnesses for Hebrew and English use cases.
- Implement production observability covering metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
- Own customer outcomes through stabilization, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex integration issues.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap using field insights.
- Create technical documentation and runbooks and support maintainable handoffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of building and shipping production software.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, including Python, Node.js or TypeScript, and Go.
- Experience with production LLM behavior, including rate limits, retries, streaming, token accounting, cost attribution, and concurrency failures.
- Experience deploying containerized services on Kubernetes, including secrets management, configuration, and upgrades.
- Experience implementing observability with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Graylog, or ELK.
- Experience with high-concurrency systems, Kafka, message queues, or event streams.
- Experience designing and building APIs, including OpenAPI, REST or GraphQL, authentication, rate limiting, versioning, and idempotency.
- Understanding of event-driven and cloud-native architectures.
- Exposure to SIP, WebRTC, or real-time voice and messaging systems.
- Customer-facing engineering experience, including technical discovery and executive presentations.
- Ability to troubleshoot integrations and determine root causes independently.
- Excellent written and verbal English and Hebrew.
- Based in Tel Aviv or willing to relocate, with authorization to work in Israel or eligibility for sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI voice assistants, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or conversational AI systems.
- Experience building domain-specific evaluation sets.
- Production experience with LLM gateways such as LiteLLM, Portkey, Kong AI Gateway, or an OpenAI-compatible proxy.
- Knowledge of open-weight models, Hebrew-adapted models, inference serving, and GPU capacity planning.
- SQL, ETL, data wrangling, and CI/CD experience.
- Background in telecommunications, CPaaS, or SaaS.
- Experience with sovereign, on-premises, or regulated cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of IAM, encryption, and audit logging.
