Join an aerospace flight sciences team developing autonomous flight and guidance technologies for aircraft and UAV systems. The role is based at the Haifa site and involves algorithm development, simulation, and flight-test support.
Responsibilities
- Design, model, and implement flight control and guidance algorithms for aircraft and UAV systems
- Research and simulate estimation, navigation, and optimal control methods
- Use MATLAB, Simulink, and 6DOF environments to validate control solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support flight testing, analyze flight data, and evaluate system performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing flight control systems
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and 6DOF simulation environments
- Programming experience in C or C++
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hebrew
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently
Nice to have
- Experience with Kalman filters and other estimation methods
- Knowledge of optimal control theory, including H∞ and LQR
- Experience with terminal guidance algorithms
