Join an aerospace engineering team in Karmiel to lead the transfer of advanced opto-mechanical systems from development into production. The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration across engineering, production, quality, procurement, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPI processes for advanced opto-mechanical systems and complex testing and calibration stations.
- Perform root cause analysis and develop engineering solutions for technical issues identified during production.
- Prepare engineering change orders and maintain engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, production, quality, procurement, and suppliers.
- Support engineering change implementation and configuration control activities.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in new product introduction or product management.
- Experience with NPI processes for complex opto-mechanical systems.
- Experience in engineering change management, configuration control, and engineering documentation.
- Experience with optical and electrical testing and calibration of opto-mechanical systems.
- Good spoken and written English, including reading comprehension.
- Strong system-level understanding, independent working ability, teamwork skills, and high motivation.
Nice to have
- Experience with complex optical test and calibration equipment, including collimators, theodolites, optical tables, integrating spheres, and cameras.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary matrix environment.
