Lead the development and integration of advanced multidisciplinary operational systems, from requirements and architecture through testing, trials, delivery, and customer collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and integration of complex multidisciplinary systems.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system requirements and designs.
- Coordinate software, hardware, mechanical, and control development teams in a matrix structure.
- Define system architecture and lead systems engineering throughout the product lifecycle.
- Plan and support testing, integration, trials, and acceptance trials.
- Work with customers, users, and partners in Israel and internationally.
- Lead technology upgrades for existing operational systems and develop new capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering or mechanical engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and integrating multidisciplinary systems combining software, hardware, control, and mechanics.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Ability to lead and coordinate professional interfaces in a matrix environment.
- Broad systems perspective and strong self-learning ability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and participate in field trials.
Nice to have
- Experience analyzing system requirements and writing systems engineering documentation.
- Military background in artillery, armored corps, or defense systems.
- Experience with international customers or partners.
