Join an aviation division as a systems engineer specializing in airborne avionics communications. The role supports the development, integration, testing, flight trials, production, and customer delivery of mission computers and communications systems for military aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Engineer mission computers and airborne communications systems for military aircraft platforms.
- Define, specify, and document hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements.
- Prepare preliminary and critical design reviews.
- Integrate and test systems in laboratory and aircraft environments.
- Write system acceptance test procedures for laboratory and aircraft testing.
- Define flight-test requirements and analyze test results.
- Support projects throughout development, testing, flight trials, serial production, and customer delivery.
- Coordinate with external customers, subcontractors, and partners while meeting project milestones and quality targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, computer, electrical, or electronics engineering.
- Required knowledge or experience in airborne command-and-control systems, radio, or data communications.
- Good technical English reading, speaking, and writing skills.
- Ability to work with customers, subcontractors, and project partners.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in systems engineering.
- Experience with military avionics systems, interfaces, and standards.
- Experience leading design reviews and multidisciplinary systems development and integration.
- Air Force background in avionics systems engineering, flight testing, or a technical-operational role.
- Knowledge of RF, digital data links, waveforms, or communications systems.
