Support the development, integration, testing, and flight trials of unmanned aerial vehicles. The role combines intensive field work with coordination across engineering, project management, technician, and subcontractor teams.
Responsibilities
- Support UAV development, integration, testing, and flight-trial activities.
- Resolve ongoing technical issues in the field.
- Investigate and analyze failures.
- Coordinate with systems engineers and other development personnel.
- Work with subcontractors.
- Act as the liaison between engineering groups, project management, technicians, and field personnel.
- Perform intensive field-based engineering work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or practical engineering diploma in electrical and electronics engineering, computer science, aeronautics, communications, or mechanical engineering.
- At least 10 years of technical experience in development, testing, and integration processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Management capabilities.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting development processes that include flight trials, acceptance test procedures, and software and hardware installation.
- Experience integrating new systems.
