Join a camera hardware engineering team developing and validating micro-optic components through optical design, laboratory testing, and production qualification.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate optical laboratory setups
- Understand measurement errors and their causes
- Define optical testing strategies for prototypes and mass-produced components
- Support micro-optic components through prototype, production, and testing phases
- Automate testing, measurement, and motion-control processes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Requirements
- Experience setting up and performing optical measurements in a laboratory
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as MATLAB or Python
- Experience analyzing experimental data and communicating results clearly
- Working knowledge of optics and laser concepts
- Proficient written and verbal English
- Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of metamaterials and metasurfaces
- Knowledge of MEMS or semiconductor fabrication processes
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. studies in electro-optics, physics, or electrical engineering
