Operations Planner
Plan production, supply, and inventory activities while balancing demand, capacity, material availability, and service levels. Coordinate across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, commercial, and R&D teams to maintain operational continuity and improve planning performance.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production, supply, and inventory plans based on demand and business priorities.
- Adjust plans in response to capacity, supply, and operational changes.
- Balance demand and supply to reduce shortages, delays, and excess inventory.
- Resolve supply, production, and delivery issues to maintain continuity.
- Coordinate planning and execution with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, sales, marketing, and R&D.
- Identify bottlenecks, prioritize critical needs, and develop practical solutions.
- Track KPIs, analyze trends, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, scenarios, and recommendations for operational decisions.
- Maintain accurate planning and inventory data in ERP and reporting systems.
- Support S&OP and cross-functional supply-demand alignment.
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and operational visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations planning.
- Strong Excel and ERP skills.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Clear communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities.
