Manage commercial procurement of raw materials for aerospace production, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracts, orders, payments, delivery tracking, and supplier risk management.
Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials such as composites, metals, chemicals, and fasteners for production lines
- Identify suppliers and manage the full procurement and contracting process
- Issue requests, negotiate terms, reach agreements, place orders, and manage supplier payments
- Track and control supplier orders against manufacturing work plans
- Coordinate with management, production, engineering, quality, logistics, and contracts teams
- Manage supplier risks related to technical gaps, quality issues, and logistics
- Coordinate deliveries to meet deadlines, reduce costs, and maintain high quality
Requirements
- At least 3 years of procurement experience
- Experience managing supplier engagements and contracts
- Required proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel
- High-level Hebrew and English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
Nice to have
- Experience managing procurement suppliers
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of machining and composite-material manufacturing processes
