Lead procurement for construction, infrastructure, and maintenance projects at an engineering and systems facility. Manage high-value purchasing, tenders, contracts, suppliers, and cross-functional project support.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement across construction, infrastructure, and maintenance.
- Manage procurement for projects valued at millions of shekels.
- Manage ongoing purchasing for maintenance, infrastructure, and operations services.
- Run complex tenders, RFQs, RFPs, and competitive supplier processes.
- Develop contracting strategies and recommend suitable contract models.
- Lead commercial, legal, and contractual negotiations through agreement signing.
- Manage strategic suppliers and develop long-term partnerships.
- Monitor contractor performance, SLA compliance, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, projects, safety, quality, finance, and legal teams.
- Support project managers throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering and management, economics, logistics, or business administration.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in project procurement for construction and infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing complex contractor agreements and significant-scale projects.
- Ability to read technical specifications, plans, and bills of quantities.
- Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- High-level English proficiency.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
