Lead the production and development of an optical space system, from supplier engagement and requirements definition through testing, integration, and system delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead a space optics manufacturing and development project.
- Manage a major subcontractor against the organization’s requirements.
- Own the project schedule and manufacturing and development activities.
- Write system and product requirements specifications.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary development and production teams in a matrix structure.
- Provide technical leadership and support for system testing and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering, electro-optics engineering, aeronautical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- High-level technical English reading and writing skills.
Nice to have
- At least three years of project management experience.
- Experience working with optical systems.
- Experience managing subcontractors.
