Lead infrastructure and procurement projects for advanced aerospace and defense systems, managing customer relationships, delivery plans, budgets, production transition, and technical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer interfaces, including quotations, commercial engagements, and customer reviews.
- Provide project reporting to customers and operational leadership.
- Own the integrated work plan and monitor milestone completion.
- Manage project budgets, labor hours, procurement, and cost-model control.
- Lead the transition from development to production, including product structure handover and development and delivery of test equipment.
- Manage project infrastructure, including integration sites, test equipment, and experimental tools.
- Coordinate matrixed collaboration across engineering, operations, procurement, and quality teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical and electronics, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- Required experience managing business relationships with customers.
- Strong ability to coordinate diverse internal and external interfaces and adjust control levels to project needs.
Nice to have
- Experience managing production projects with budgets of tens of millions of dollars.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems.
