Responsibilities
- Deliver commercial management for complex construction projects throughout the project lifecycle
- Control costs and promote value for money
- Manage change orders, variations, contractual matters, and commercial issues
- Prepare, negotiate, and agree final accounts and assess contractor claims
- Prepare estimates, cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Produce cost reports, valuations, and commercial analyses
- Support tendering and procurement, including bid documentation and contractor evaluation
- Monitor expenditure, investigate variances, and report commercial risks and opportunities
- Maintain accurate cost records and commercial documentation
- Ensure work complies with project procedures, contractual requirements, and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience managing pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects
- Degree in cost management, construction, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Availability for video-based interviews, either in person or virtually
