A defense and space systems manufacturer is seeking a project planning and control professional to support major engineering programs and coordinate project performance from proposal through completion.
Responsibilities
- Apply project management methodologies and assess their impact on project objectives
- Build project work plans and budgets
- Monitor and control project progress
- Track planned versus actual performance from the quotation stage through project completion
- Create an overall view of project status and recommend corrective actions when needed
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a PMO
- Degree, practical engineering diploma, or technician qualification in Industrial Engineering and Management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with SAP or a comparable ERP system
Nice to have
- Experience in a command or management role
- Experience with MS Project
