Lead a complex multi-mission aircraft program from contract signing through delivery to the customer. The role covers technical, commercial, customer-facing, supplier, schedule, supply, and risk-management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of mission systems and weapon capabilities
- Own the program’s technical, commercial, and customer-facing aspects during proposals
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate their ongoing delivery
- Lead cross-functional work across systems engineering, software, mechanical engineering, and hardware engineering
- Plan and monitor work programs, procurement, deliveries, and project risks
- Drive the program from contract signing through customer delivery
Requirements
- Academic degree in engineering
- Experience as a business or engineering project manager, or as a chief engineer on a development project
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Good spoken and written English

- Background in airborne systems or weapon systems
- Experience developing defense systems or airborne weapons
