Coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary engineering activities across a high-speed rail programme, aligning technical disciplines, interfaces, stakeholders, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and technical interfaces.
- Monitor engineering progress and support resolution of technical issues.
- Facilitate communication among designers, contractors, client representatives, and technical specialists.
- Ensure compliance with performance, safety, interoperability, and operational requirements.
- Support configuration management and engineering change control.
- Contribute to strategic planning and project execution optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, railway, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in railway or major infrastructure projects, including high-speed rail.
- Experience in design engineering and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Expertise in project controls, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Knowledge of railway systems integration, configuration management, and international engineering standards.
- Experience with quality control and assurance processes and engineering safety and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage technical aspects of complex, high-value projects and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
