Lead the programs and projects function as a member of the executive management team. Oversee complex development, engineering design, and serial-production projects in a technology-driven, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s programs and projects activities as a vice-president-level executive reporting to the CEO.
- Manage, mentor, train, and develop project managers and department employees.
- Own delivery of complex development, engineering design, and serial-production projects against budget, schedule, quality, performance, and profitability targets.
- Set priorities and allocate resources across projects according to business and organizational needs.
- Lead risk and opportunity management processes to improve performance and business results.
- Develop and implement program and project management methodologies, workflows, and technology tools.
- Lead business campaigns, prepare quotations, negotiate, and represent the company with customers and partners in Israel and abroad.
- Maintain relationships with the Ministry of Defense, the Israel Defense Forces, strategic customers, and major business stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional work with engineering, operations, supply chain, production, quality, finance, and human resources.
- Contribute to company strategy, multiyear work plans, and executive decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience managing a project management department or business unit.
- Experience managing complex development and production projects in a technology and matrix environment.
- Experience working with senior department leaders and multiple organizational stakeholders.
- Very high-level written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Executive management team experience.
- Experience working with the Israel Defense Forces, Ministry of Defense, or defense industries.
- Familiarity with energy, cooling, and air-conditioning systems.
- Military background in armored vehicles, armaments, or technology maintenance.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business.
