Global Program Associate Director

Lead the operational execution of global drug development programs within a biopharmaceutical R&D organization. Partner with cross-functional teams across R&D, Commercial, and technical operations to maintain alignment, timelines, governance, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Partner with program leadership and global program team members to translate strategy into integrated asset plans.
- Coordinate strategic documentation and preparations for program stage-gate reviews.
- Manage cross-functional alignment, program goals, timelines, KPIs, and milestones.
- Develop and maintain project plans and forecasts in enterprise planning systems.
- Assess assumptions and interdependencies to clarify the critical path.
- Identify risks, lead mitigation strategies, and maintain contingencies.
- Coordinate program meetings, agendas, minutes, action tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across R&D, Commercial, and technical operations.
- Prepare executive project status updates, presentations, and governance materials.
- Promote collaborative team culture, shared accountability, process improvement, and program management best practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in science or an MBA.
- At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Expert project management capability.
- Advanced knowledge of drug product development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to align cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Nice to have
- PMP certification.
- Experience managing large-scale, complex international development projects.
- Additional project management experience.
