Cybersecurity company seeking a Lead Product Manager to manage the product team, shape security solutions, and drive roadmap execution from design through deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor vulnerability researchers, penetration testers, and software developers as a cybersecurity domain expert.
- Oversee the design and architecture of cybersecurity solutions, including high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Conduct market research and engage customers to align products with operational requirements and support go-to-market activities.
- Develop and enforce operational security policies and mechanisms that protect product safety and integrity.
- Deploy products across varied environments while accounting for changing network and infrastructure requirements.
- Prioritize features, set delivery milestones, and manage product releases with engineering teams.
- Track cybersecurity standards, regulations, emerging threats, and relevant technologies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of cybersecurity experience, including vulnerability research, operational security, and penetration testing.
- At least 3 years of team leadership or comparable experience.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, operational security practices, and industry tools.
- Experience with software development management and agile methodologies.
- Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Ability to set milestones, manage projects, communicate progress, and present effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
