Health Data Product Manager

Own health data onboarding and data quality for a healthcare data platform. Partner with data providers and internal technical teams to improve data reliability and product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and own health data onboarding features from initial planning through delivery
- Define user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, mapping specifications, data dictionaries, and quality checks
- Manage onboarding plans, release and sprint planning, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and technical risk mitigation
- Establish data quality metrics, monitoring, and dashboards
- Track data quality across suppliers and lead issue investigation and resolution
- Analyze how new data affects the data network and identify product improvements
- Collaborate with data partners, engineering, QA, data operations, and product teams
- Build expertise in prescription, medical claims, and other inbound healthcare data
- Develop roadmaps and improvement plans for the data product
Requirements
- 5+ years managing outbound communication with high-profile US-based customers
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years working with data pipelines, including ETL/ELT processes, schemas, and analytics
- Experience designing data transformations, mappings, and reference tables
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Sigma
- Experience investigating data issues and collaborating with data scientists on complex analysis
- Understanding of cloud-based applications and designs
- Understanding of healthcare data, including prescription claims, medical claims, and EHR data
- High English proficiency
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field
Nice to have
- Life sciences, SaaS, or enterprise product experience
- Familiarity with security protocols and data privacy regulations
- Understanding of NoSQL databases
- Additional understanding of prescription claims, medical claims, and EHR data
