Technology Team Leader

Lead the technology department at a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing site, managing engineers and technologists while supporting compliant, efficient production and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technology department supporting sterile operations
- Lead new product introduction processes and implementation in sterile manufacturing
- Own the characterization, design, and implementation of new equipment
- Drive technology and process improvements for manufacturing performance, quality, and efficiency
- Manage CAPA, Change Controls, and critical work instructions through timely closure
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through production-floor implementation
- Resolve complex technological and process-related challenges
- Collaborate with engineering, projects, validation, quality assurance, supply chain, logistics, maintenance, and manufacturing science functions
- Coach and develop engineers, technologists, and new employees
- Represent operations and technology during regulatory and customer audits
- Ensure GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the product and process lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven team leadership experience
- Experience leading technical teams of engineers and production-support teams in a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of GMP requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hebrew
Nice to have
- Experience in sterile, aseptic, or biologics manufacturing
- Knowledge of sterile manufacturing principles and aseptic processing
- Experience with validation, investigations, CAPA, and Change Control processes
