Lead a team developing a scalable runtime security platform for applications, cloud environments, workloads, and AI systems. Combine people leadership with hands-on backend engineering, technical architecture, and customer-focused problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a software engineering team.
- Oversee product design, architecture, implementation, and the full technical development lifecycle.
- Develop secure, scalable, high-quality backend features hands-on.
- Resolve complex technical challenges and customer problems by identifying root causes.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and help guide product direction.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience leading or managing a development team of five or more engineers.
- At least 6 years of backend development experience in cloud environments.
- Track record designing and building high-scale, high-throughput backend services.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, message brokers such as Kafka, and caching solutions such as Redis.
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience working directly with customers or client-facing teams to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, conflict-resolution, communication, and decision-making skills.
