Lead a software engineering team developing manufacturing test solutions for networking hardware. Manage project lifecycle, define product strategy, and drive test automation. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality production software.
Responsibilities
- Guide, mentor, and expand the engineering team, ensuring effective planning and execution.
- Coordinate with product, program management, engineering, and production teams to achieve objectives.
- Manage the full product lifecycle for networking systems test software.
- Define product features and roadmaps, understand strategy and positioning.
- Review architectural builds to identify issues and ensure robust production.
- Identify and mitigate risks, and improve processes within the team.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years in software development, test automation, or system verification.
- 3+ years team management experience.
- Strong programming expertise in Python for system-level development.
- Experience with production test development and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Linux, embedded software, and firmware development.
- Familiarity with hardware/software co-design, debugging, and system bring-up.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor software engineering teams.
- Extensive background in software development approaches, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes.
