Lead the creation and growth of a high-performing engineering team developing secure, scalable enterprise SaaS products. Own the team roadmap, technical direction, and execution while partnering with Product, Security, and DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a software engineering team from the ground up
- Own the team roadmap and product-aligned technical vision
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineers
- Drive secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery
- Partner with Product Management, Security, and DevOps teams
- Contribute to architecture and strategic engineering decisions
- Promote technical excellence, autonomy, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a software engineering team leader in a SaaS company
- At least 5 years of experience as a senior software engineer in a SaaS company
- Experience leading teams in cloud-native environments
- Expertise with microservices, distributed systems, and high-scale applications
- Technical experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and support their professional growth
- Ability to combine technical depth with strategic planning and execution
