Senior Aviation Tooling Team Manager
Manage a large technical team supporting aviation assembly lines, tooling construction, inspections, operational processes, and strict aerospace quality standards in Lod, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Manage workforce allocation and employee transfers across production-line stations according to cost requirements
- Lead technical work and operational processes across aviation assembly lines
- Conduct periodic inspections of aviation tools and jigs for completeness and damage
- Verify construction and assembly of new tools against drawings and engineering models
- Ensure work follows route cards, official engineering instructions, factory procedures, and AS9100 quality standards
- Prepare the administration for internal and external audits and support successful completion
- Participate in senior management reviews
Requirements
- At least three years of mechanical experience
- Mandatory background in metalworking or welding and knowledge of metal types
- Proven ability to manage a large employee team
- Willingness to work overtime
Nice to have
- Mechanical engineering technician qualification
- Relevant technical certification
- Aircraft mechanic command experience
- Experience working to strict procedures and standards
