A semiconductor technology startup is seeking a Mixed-Signal Verification Team Lead to manage a distributed verification team and oversee delivery of digital verification for analog and mixed-signal designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a distributed team of mixed-signal verification engineers across time zones.
- Coordinate with analog and digital design teams on specifications, verification plans, and milestones.
- Define and oversee behavioral modeling of analog designs for digital verification flows.
- Drive mixed-signal dynamic verification using industry-standard digital verification tools.
- Debug complex mixed-signal design issues and verify functional and specification compliance.
- Plan and implement scalable, reusable verification environments in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Mentor verification engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, reporting, and delivery of verification objectives.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in mixed-signal and/or digital mixed-signal verification.
- At least 3 years of experience managing or leading verification teams.
- Experience developing behavioral models of analog designs for digital verification.
- Expertise in mixed-signal dynamic verification using digital verification tools, excluding AMS.
- Knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog for testbench development and debugging.
- Experience using Virtuoso to understand and review analog schematics.
- Strong understanding of analog design fundamentals.
- Experience developing scalable, portable test cases and using simulators, waveform viewers, and coverage tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for test plans, results, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Hands-on UVM experience.
- Proficiency with Synopsys or Cadence verification tools.
