Hardware and System Development Manager
Lead a team developing test and validation hardware platforms for high-performance networking products. Own full hardware lifecycle from design to production, collaborate with multiple disciplines, and drive technical execution and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of customized test boards and system-level test infrastructure
- Own full hardware lifecycle from definition and schematic design to bring-up and production deployment
- Deliver hardware for functional, performance, and reliability testing in R&D and manufacturing
- Collaborate with Mechanics, Signal Integrity, Layout, DFT, Firmware, and Production teams
- Drive technical execution, project schedules, and cross-site coordination
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in board-level hardware design (digital, power, high-speed interfaces)
- 5+ years of proven leadership in hardware development teams
- Hands-on expertise in lab bring-up, debugging, and validation
- Strong project management and cross-disciplinary interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- Broad system-level understanding of networking or compute platforms
- Experience designing test infrastructure for validation and production
- Knowledge of DFT principles and advanced test coverage strategies
- Familiarity with high-volume production workflows
