Lead a networking firmware engineering team while contributing hands-on to firmware development, verification, debugging, and system integration for advanced hardware platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of firmware engineers
- Provide technical guidance and support career development
- Coordinate with architecture and software design teams
- Implement networking features in core firmware across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments
- Develop verification tests for advanced features
- Debug complex systems and understand hardware, firmware, and software interactions
- Support the operation, maintenance, qualification, and release of large software projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of managerial experience
- At least 6 years of overall professional experience
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
- Motivated, independent, and effective in interpersonal collaboration
Nice to have
- Knowledge of network protocols
- Experience with real-time programming
- Experience with Agile methods
- Experience with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, or Docker
