Engineering Team Lead - Sensor Engineering
Hands-on engineering team lead responsible for managing ~5 engineers and driving architecture for cross-platform security sensor infrastructure supporting real-time posture analysis and automated remediation at enterprise scale. Hybrid role based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of highly technical engineers
- Own architecture and technical direction of core platform components
- Build scalable, high-performance infrastructure for real-time security analysis and automated remediation
- Develop cross-platform capabilities across Windows, Linux, and macOS
- Work on complex engineering challenges involving performance, scalability, concurrency, reliability, and distributed systems
- Collaborate closely with Product, Research, Security, and Platform teams
- Drive engineering best practices, technical excellence, and strong ownership culture
- Influence product architecture and long-term technical strategy
Requirements
- Previous proven experience leading engineering teams
- Strong background in endpoint security products, agent-based security, security infrastructure, or OS internals
- Experience working close to operating systems and system internals
- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, memory, and performance optimization
- Strong coding skills in Go, modern C++, or similar languages
- Experience with cross-platform environments (Windows/Linux/macOS)
- Strong system design and architecture skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent military experience
Nice to have
- Experience with telemetry, observability, or runtime analysis systems
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale security environments
- Experience leading teams in fast-growing startup environments
