Engineering Manager, Firmware Verification

Lead a networking firmware verification infrastructure team while combining engineering management with hands-on technical leadership. Own testing flows, coverage, regression, methodologies, and delivery quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end team execution and own the firmware verification testing domain, including flows, coverage, and regression cycles.
- Maintain and scale verification infrastructure while driving continuous improvement and stability.
- Define testing methodologies and address missed bugs through retrospectives and actionable improvements.
- Guide evaluation of data and control paths for new features and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical direction on firmware functionality and its hardware and software interfaces.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and high-level technical decisions.
- Set priorities, remove blockers, communicate trade-offs and status, and align stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop engineers while fostering ownership and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- At least 6 years of overall engineering experience, including 3 or more years in engineering management or team leadership.
- Strong hands-on coding ability and deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing execution and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, problem-solving ability, and independent delivery leadership.
Nice to have
- Deep familiarity with C++.
- Experience with regression testing, verification flows, and continuous integration practices.
- Knowledge of networking protocols.
- Experience with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
