Lead the development of advanced, multidisciplinary electro-optical assemblies and high-power laser systems at an engineering site in Rehovot, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Plan, synchronize, and coordinate development activities across engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Make development decisions and approve key milestones.
- Ensure compliance with schedule, scope, quality, budget, and customer satisfaction requirements.
- Oversee system technical requirements and lead integration, design review, testing, and trial events.
- Prioritize engineering activities and evaluate cross-disciplinary alternatives.
- Develop prototypes and conduct complex experiments for risk reduction and capability validation.
- Allocate development resources and ensure delivery of system commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience leading development processes in complex multidisciplinary system programs.
- Strong system-level understanding and multidisciplinary engineering knowledge.
- Experience creating work plans, managing risks, and controlling budgets.
- Leadership and team management skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and work across new technology domains.
- Willingness to work intensively for extended periods.
Nice to have
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience developing military electro-optical systems.
